The Proposal
On July 3, 2009, Mircea took Kate out on the boat to visit St. Clements Island, one of the couple’s favorite places to visit. After a day of fun in the sun, Kate asked if Mircea was ready to head back. He said “I have one last thing”, and pulled a ring out of his pocket and proposed. Not one who is accustomed to being surprised, Kate stared in shock and finally managed to eek out a “yes”.
